Sacrificial Love:

Sacrificial love is one of the main theme's in Disney's "The Lion King". Uncle Scar put's Simba's life in  dangerous situation's, where it is up to Mufasa to put his own life in danger to save his son , Simba. The first incident happened when  uncle Scar told Simba and Nala that there is an elephant graveyard that they shouldn't go to because it is dangerous. Simba and Nala end up getting themselves in trouble because they decide not to listen. When they arrive at the elephant graveyard, there are hyena's that Scar sent after them. Mufasa shows up and puts his own life in danger by saving Simba and Nala from the hynea's.  For Scar's last attempt of trying to kill Simba and Mufasa he get's his hynea's to chase a heard towards Simba causing a stampede. Scar inform's Mufasa that Simba's life is in danger, so Mufasa rushes to the stampede and rescue's Simba but end's up dying because Scar throws Mufasa back into the stampede to die. These, are two models of sacrificial love because Mufasa ends up dying trying to save Simba.
